I’m quite disappointed from his reply. I mean okay the financial loan thing was like okay, there must be some policies and they accommodate every other individual, but what about the humiliating behaviour of the Director to that student and his father? Sadly, but Mr. Ayub Alvi has totally ignored this part.

You guys have ended up with nothing…… Asking Ayub Alvi to sack or demote Asim ur Rehman is not the solution….. Sir Asim is just an individual and we need a system for solution of this problem….

@Ali if you can do something to build up a Karachi FAST community then that would be really appreciable…. This community shall be a transparent body with a constitution…. And the community should be organizing programs and reaching other Khi FAST graduates to donate for the financially challenged students.

The letter of brother Asad Shairani finally reached higher authorities and we received Director Mr.Asim-ur-Rehman's apology letter today. I thank you all for raising voice for the concern. Proud to be FASTian.

@waseem and taha: brother making efforts is all that counts, we got an apology letter from Mr Asim-ur-Rehman and the student has been allowed to apply for extension (i doubt he would). As for your advice of forming a council that is exactly what the FASTian alumni has in mind. We are working on it and will update as soon as something forms up.
